The section on estimating your energy requirements is helpful and explains the essential information. But if you want a decent solar system, you really should go through this and the next sections. You will have to sort through a great deal of detail that they describe. The PVWATTS description was excellent. It offers a thorough simulation of your solar system and was new to me.
